UNDER HER ARMOR plot: the cosplay queen at the next desk
UNDER HER ARMOR is a Candy Shorts drama that begins in an office and ends up somewhere much more personal. A timid worker discovers that his quiet coworker is secretly softbunny_xo, the cosplay queen he has loved online. As their virtual flirtation becomes real, he has to protect her double life. Candy’s setup gives him a clear mission, which keeps the story focused on one question: what does he do with the secret he has stumbled on?
The final line of the synopsis sets the emotional goal: he must prove he wants the woman behind both identities, not just the persona. That makes this a romance as much as a flirtation, with a gentler, more character-driven tone than many of the series around it.
What to expect from UNDER HER ARMOR
- A double identity. Softbunny_xo online and a quiet coworker offline give the lead two sides to reveal.
- A shy hero. The timid office worker is an underdog, which makes his protectiveness easy to root for.
- Online meets real life. The story moves a virtual flirtation into the real world, with all the awkwardness that implies.
- A heart-first angle. Proving he wants the whole person gives the series an emotional center.

Who will love it
It is a good fit for Drama fans, cosplay and online-culture enthusiasts, and anyone who likes an office romance with a secret. If you prefer stories where emotion leads and the flirtation grows from a connection, this is a strong choice in the Candy AI Shorts lineup. Office-romance fans will recognize the shy-colleague trope, but the cosplay twist gives it a fresher angle.
Our verdict on UNDER HER ARMOR
A charming, relatable premise with more heart than most. The downside is that five episodes leave little space for the double-life storyline to breathe, and the full story requires Premium or per-episode unlocks. If you like romance with your flirtation, the free episode is a low-risk start. The tone sounds warmer and more sincere than most of the catalogue, which makes it a good change of pace.
